Former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has announced his retirement from international cricket, bringing an end to a distinguished career spanning 16 years. The right-handed batter represented New Zealand across all three formats and established himself as one of the most consistent performers in the team’s history.

Over the course of his international career, Williamson played a total of 378 matches for New Zealand. During this period, he became the country’s highest run-scorer in international cricket, accumulating 19,346 runs.
